Can anyone tell me if they have been catching any winter whiting at the mouth of the brisbane river or out on banana banks any help will be greatly appreciated YK

Not having fished for winteries any time other than may-July, can someone inform me when the Winteries are optimum size? Summer? winter?

I've always found July-August the best time for quality and numbers around the Rouse. Haven't fished many other spots for winterise. hope it helps.

Have found the best depth around 5-5.3m.

best time I have found winter/diver whiting is around xmas in the rous normally good fish and easy to get ya bag
