Nice fish mate.
With good conditions forecast we went from Tin Can out through the gutter about 10am Saturday we worked our way out to the 11 mile picking up a few odds and ends. We found a good show and anchored up it was very slow for a while until the soft plastic rod that was in the holder took off after a short run it dropped it but came back again after a long fight and massive runs we had an 87cm snapper on board. After this it went quiet so we moved to a spot near by we picked up a few small fish and then about 5pm the snapper went nuts hitting pillies and plastics, we were dusted on the reef numerous times even after upgrading lines there were still some unstoppables, then as quickly as they came on they shut down again about 8pm we tried a couple other spots for nothing so we went in near Double Island for a sleep, in the morning we picked up a couple fish in close it was a shame to leave glassed out conditions but at least it was a quick trip home.
Nice fish mate.
Good stuff
Mate, I bet you used a net to land that beast.
Unlike Moejoes who think real men don't use nets, eh Rob!
Great report.
