Gold Coast Leatherjackets

Hi All,
Its most probably already been reported on here but we fished 36s and 50s North off the Goldy yesterday and got hammered by leatherjackets,has anyone else had the same experience out there over the weekend? it sure did f#%*k up what was a perfect looking day.
I know a couple of guys on here sit up on the headlands with a set of binoculars for six months of the year waiting for them to come through well I can tell you they are here boys you can have em all to yourselves.

We had the same Saturday afternoon on the 50's, moved off them and they went 1 1/2 hours before dark, then the current slowed right down and quoted out on snapper, perlies and trag to 90cm. After dark was just XOS stop me if you can fish

came home 70km/hr, a dream of a night
