Fishing lessons / tuition - redlands way

    Hey All,

Having be trying to improve my fishing skills with limited success.

Can anyone recommend either a business or individual that offers tuition of some sort ?

Not after offshore stuff, just around the bay covering some real fundamental stuff.

Im based in Cleveland so ideally looking around here.

Have some basic gear and a 4.5m centre console quintrex.

    Cheers
    Adrian

Have a look around for a local fishing club. By far the best way to learn to fish, the local waters, and make a few fishing mates. If you cant find one, have a look here

But there are many more clubs around than ANSA affiliated ones.

Call Sean Conlon from Moreton Bay charters if you want a good day learning. If the weather is fowl and not worth taking the boat out he might sit down with you to go through some theory.

As much as I agree about Sean he is never available!!! If you book a spot and the weather is to crappy to go out, you will go back to the end of his list again. Can be up to a year out.. He must be that good hey.. but frustrating all the same.

This is difficult for sure, but I think he'd rather tip the odds in the clients favour with good conditions and give them a successful day rather than leaving people disappointed. Hence the long wait with crappy weather more the norm than the exception.

Yeah totally agree Scalem. It's just not a reliable service if your seeking tuition sooner than later.
I guess I'm also suggesting there is room for more players in that market as there are plenty of customers.

I would strongly recommend booking a trip with Shaun .It will be worth the wait and in the meantime contact Redland Bay Fishing club where i am certain that they will assist you. Very family oriented club.
