The forecast was perfect and the day was close to the best weather I have ever had offshore so good luck to all .(Wynnum ramp is closed on one side will be great viewing if it's not open by Friday night)If you want to catch pearls go to the cathedrals 48-55m and you will get a feed. Probably through back 10 keepers and kept these for a meal The small one was 38cm

The current was good was using 8ounce but went up to 12 middle of the tide

The current was too slow down there I reckon. I was there floatlining with a 4 ball and still getting to the bottom. Great condition though. Coming across the bay was interesting. Couldn't see 20foot in front of the boat for a while in that fog.
