Good onya mate..... not many reports going up these days.
After reading Gregs (Seahorse ) thread this morning ,(about fishing reports),I thought I should do the right thing.A disclaimer at this point,if you want to read about me slaying them, you will be dissapointed. On the water about 5 am , thick peasoup fog .
A few boats out no dramas though all nice and quiet.Threw the lines out and started to troll .
Within an hour I must have caught 50 pound of weed. Said hello to old mate below , getting his morning exercise .
Fishing was very slow .
One thing I could not understand was , there was a ski boat towing a skier when the visibility would have been under 20 feet .Anyway stayed away from him ,and continued trying to pull up a couple of decent yella's .
Total catch for the day was 2 legal yella's.

Good on you. Pretty much the only reason I don't go there often is the skiers. 10/10 fun from a kayak
Well done & thanks for the report!
nice report and pics, we just spent a week out there till Monday... 2 of us managed silvers 13 keepers over 40cm and about 8 throw backs 6 over 30.... but not 1 yellow or green
bait was live shrimp and frozen sw yabbies
trolled about a million miles for just weed and disappointment...lol
a big crew at the camp, 50 or more made short work of the keepers
Cheers Chris

Yes mate ,
We were out there again for 4 days over the weekend .Great weather , managed to get a few every day. All were yella's . All about the 40cm size , but great condition . Also picked up this little bloke , obviously he went back . Had a nice fat gut on him . Only trolling with spinners and jackals .
