Thanks for the report. Always good to get great info and pics in these reports.

I see the weather put a halt to your planned 3 days on the water.. bugga !

In the 3rd photo, is that some iodine bream fillets that you were using for bait ?

The conditions on the day you were out there look fantastic

I though I saw you out there, but didn't notice any Ausfish stickers on your boat ? Did you see us in the big white platey ?

    Cheers LP

Got on to Fraser the day after the cyclone. Had a great trip up to waddy point due to all the rain and lack of traffic the track was easy.
It was still blowing pretty well from the south east for the first four days so we had a good look around.Click image for larger version.

ID:	108031 On the Friday it looked like we would have a crack at the beach launch into waddy gutter. Up early and down to the beach. No worries launching. Heading out the gutter a centre console in front of me got a lot to close to the beach, three blokes were thrown out. I didn't see what happened to them as I had to contend with other matters. The gutter was not great. Friends of mine on shore helped the blokes out, and bit bruised and battered, but they went out. Scary stuff.
Anyway we went for a cruise probably 15k almost due east found a bit of ground. We only did a couple of drifts and we had more then enough for us.
Not wanting any more table fish we decided to troll back to the gutter, as I was not sure how much water we would have. Only got a mac tuna, but a first for one of the boys, and he had a ball with it.
I took a mark on the way out so no worries finding my way back in.
All in all quite a mission glad I did it, and if I can most could.
    Ps hope it works.
    Cheers preso
