    Stejcraft 480c - any good?

    I'm currently looking at a 2010 Stejcraft 480C. Has a 4stroke 70hp Yammy on the back.

Being only new to the boating world (have had a really old tinnie for a couple of months) I'm not up to speed on all of the brands. The old man always had Haines Hunters and I know they are a great boat but the budget isn't stretching that far.

The boat will be used in and around Moreton Bay for 2 adults and 2 kids so I'm looking at fibreglass cuddy/half cabs 15-17 feet.

Thanks in advance to any responses. I've been doing a lot of reading on here and it has been very helpful.

Check the build quality is all I can suggest.

That is a pretty small boat mate.... Have you had a close up look to make sure it is big enough?

I think it is ok size wise. Recommendations on someone to do a full inspection for me?

Look up a marine surveyor. I have used Nick Lockyer in the past and he is very thorough.
