Camping at Bigriggen at Easter

Hi,

I was wondering if anyone has been camping at Bigriggen at Easter time.

We are looking at going this easter but have heard it can get very busy and a bit squashy.

Any other spots you can recommend nearby would be great too.

Any advice would be appreciated.

I haven't camped there in about 15 years but back then I always avoided easter like the plague!

That being said, I'm not sure that anywhere else that is 2wd accessible will be much better!

We did one Easter , packed like sardines
people set up early in the week so best spots gone on Thursday night
go west for more room like Gorden country and places around Stanhope

It looks like a nice spot, but i think i'll give Easter a miss.

Might have to head out there another weekend though.
