    Stanage Bay

Having a second go at Stanage bay in a couple of weeks (first attempt a little cyclone decided to ruin our trip). Wondering how and where you fish during these fast running tides. We will be going with a change of 6M!! Got a 5m Abalone with an 80hp.

I'd be heading out to the islands if the weather is good. Plenty of fish around there .
Hope the cyclones that are forming don't affect the fishing , if they get a lot of rain the creek
    will be like chocolate .
We are going up at the start of february so would be good to hear how the fishing and the road is.

Hi there, we just got back from 3 weeks up there, road was excellent, weather up and down, got 3 overnighters to the islands including spending Xmas day and night at hexham with the wife and kids and no one else! (just awesome) did not fish real well around there, went to th percy's in the following days and cleaned up! Good red, nannies, trout, mackeral, cobia, cracking sweetlip, grass and red throat, dropped a 20 plus kg Spaniard boatside, (devastated), big goldens and lots of sharks! Glassed out new years eve day! Cheers

Road was OK, a bit of flooding. The last quarter was a little graded.
