Bugga, I'm out for this year. Mrs decided she wanted to go to South America for her 50th, and the dates clash. I am sure the trip will be great, but I think I would prefer to be at 1770.
Deleted post, due to possible Old Timers...issues... hahahahahah

Our normal house, Arthurs park has been taken off the rental market , so now we will be at the "A LURE" house, close to the main beach, including a big rumpus room with a ping pong table and all... think it is 2 Jefferies street/court... Agnes Waters. Beer will be cold 24/7 short term guests welcome....LOL....

Having not fished 1770 before, what sort of fuel range is the average for an over night trip ?
Built in we have 220 - 240 km's, but looking at getting a few jerry cans to up it to the 300 ish mark.

Depends on where you want to go.
Overnight is not the issue, how far you travel is. Lady Musgrave island is about 60k's from the bar. If you fish around that area, your 220k range is plenty. Some prefer to fish further north and have travelled around the 300k mark. Let's not forget the weather conditions also play a role in fuel usage as does a heavy cargo.
Do you have something like Mapsource / Homeport software on your home PC ?
No matter where I fish up there, if I am going overnight, I take extra fuel.
cheers LP

I always take 5 jerry cans with me Bungs in. That gives me about 310L in total. That will last me 3 days with crew and gear and still have plenty left over. That is at a consumption rate of 1.4klm/liter.
We don't normally go much further north than Fitzroy and work our way down.
Wardy
3 blokes for 3 days in a trailer boat, that's crazy talk.
Sounds like we on the money with a 300 km ish range for an o'nighter.
Cheers guys.
