Hello All,

a gentle notice that the Open water Swim for the Pan Pacific Masters Games is being held in Currumbin Creek on Sunday 09 November.

About two hundred older swimmers will be swimming around a course that is mostly in the pirate park part of the estuary.
Many of these people are in their 70's and some are planning to swim 5kms so they deserve some respect.

The event will start at about 0800 and finish at about 1100.

Boaties will still have access to the ocean, but please stay well to east to avoid the swimmers.
Please keep a good lookout.
Water police will be in attendance during the race.

This event is in support of the ideals of masters sports and is a really noble thing to promote.
Your cooperation is greatly appreciated.

Thankyou,
Crocodile
