    Hello

    Hi all,

We've just got ourselves a nice little 5.5m cuddy cabin to take our 3 boys around to fish with. Been reading the forums for a few weeks and thought it was time to join in.

We are on the north side of Brisbane, still learning the ropes of boating etc as an Adult (did a bit when I was younger).

    Thanks

Welcome Mate to a great family past time, took the kids to Tanga's yesterday, great day...swimming, climbing sand dunes, digging holes, picnic lunch and all that....didn't get a chance to wet a line this time but that's OK as all about getting the kids out in the fresh air and away from the ipads!

    Welcome mate

Buy a waterproof camera and put some reports up. It's not about the biggest fish or the most fish or even catching fish it's about the experience with others or alone on the water.

    Good luck

    Thanks guys.

Sounds like a great day Crunchy, would love to be able to do that kind of thing with the boys soon. Just slowly getting to know the boat before we do a bigger trip out to Tanga.

Yeh I took it slowly building up knowledge and confidence but now rip around all over the place enjoying different spots. Moving from a non-mapping GPS to a mapping GPS sure made it a lot easier. Have made a few mistakes like thinking if 15 knots was OK off the sunny coast must be great in the bay....nope it doesn't really work like that!
