The weight question was one of the reasons there is one engine, the other is the reliability of modern 4 stroke outboards.

My personal experience with Suzuki has been very good - that is why there will be one on the back of this boat.

On the live bait tank - yes there is a big one on the centreline - you can see it in the middle of this earlier pic - it is in the centre with the two storage hatches either side.

The tank will have a clear front wall and a light to keep the kids entertained at night!

Looks good mate, im assuming your trying to keep it under the magical 3.5T mark?

Can't go wrong with suzukis! your rig would look real nice with a set of new fly by wire inline 4 200's on the back!

What sort of electronics / transducer setup are you going with?

If it were me, I would nickname this boat "Tiny"

    Hi Luke,

Yes - we are going to keep the overall weight below 3.5T.

The boat is trailerable for a good reason - I am hoping to get to Port Stephens and the Ribbons (cooktown) as well as plenty of trips to Hervey Bay / Gold Coast etc.

Moda have run the Boat and Trailer over the weighbridge just now and the Boat and Trailer have come in at 2.15 Tonnes.

We are really happy with that outcome.

    Cheers,

    Brad.

    Off to Paint now.

    All holes predrilled and ready.

Moda did a neat job of the shot gun rigger mount.

    Cheers,

    Brad

How cool would it look if you could sand it even and buff it to a chrome finish??!!

    Thanks Fishard.

One of the colours we considered for the hull was a metallic Silver (but not polished chrome).

I am sure it would look great in Silver but the flag blue is the colour.

    Cheers,

    Brad.

    Trailer is complete.

Boat will be back from Paint this week.

Cant wait for the inspection on Saturday - I am sure it will be very different in Blue and white.

I am in Melbourne this week but Shane has sent me some pics of the boat both in the paint booth and then back on the trailer.

I am happy with the colour and the paint job is first class.

Hey bananas. Great looking boat mate. Question. I saw on Facebook a picture of your trailer saying it had been stolen from sams performance plate boats yard. Story?

Hi mull dog - I think you will find that was Moda posting a picture of my trailer as a reference image for one similar that performance plate bosts had stolen.

that is as much as I know - cheers,

P.s. I don't think they would want to nick mine it has data dot and a tracker - it would be a quick way to 3 meals and a small room a day....

    Getting pretty close now.

Plenty of pics to come in a few weeks time.

I visited yesterday and the close to final product is mind blowing.

I will put a shot up of the centre helm and dash when I get it.

    Getting excited!
