Finally finished these to bass rods for a mate in the USA. Obviously the USA theme right through. These were a labour of "love". Once I got started I knew what I wanted them to look like. Very similar and obviously a set but small differences to set them apart. I used Threadmaster light on one rod and Bullards D2 on the other. Personally, I will go Threadmaster light on all guide wraps from now on unless a heavy saltwater. The reason is it is so easy to apply and it "flows" into every nook and cranny giving a perfect finish. Just beautiful to use.
Frikn awesome Mark,
I can only imagine the hours you spent on them, wow, the inlays look great, do you use Selleys contact adhesive, as I play around in eva inlays and used weldwood from the states but cant get it now so I'm unsure what to use and know it will last.
