Weipa/Pennefather River

We are heading up to the Pennefather River again over the SeptemberSchool Holidays. Will be just the three of us. Wife , Me and the Young bloke(11).
If anyone is keen to tag along (especially with a family) letme know. We went up last year and had a ball. Will be taking the boat this yearto open up some more fishing options.
You will need to be self sufficient for at least a week andneed a well setup and maintained 4 x 4.

superb place...I did 8 days up there on the lagoon, river and close inshore reefs...We are on holidays then too...but don't think our finances will allow a Weipa trip and the 1770 Meet and greet back to back...but if we can I shall let you know...If you need some gps spots for the little reefs out front of the main beach, let me know, plenty of little 2kg trout there...and a heap of sharks too... cheers Kev.
