    I've heard JCU placed some stations in the area themselves. I'll see what I can find out exactly but have heard they can record up to 400km/hr and the anemometer is set 6 metres high. One was put at Cape Flattery. I imagine it will take a while for the data to be available but if they survived it could be interesting.
    Who knows, the BOM one may have been hit by something.

    1. Yes could have been hit by something but even so that typically wouldn't stop data from some of the other data sensors from getting through, a complete data stop is typically a communication issue?

    2. Lizard island also stopped data uploads at 8:50pm 11/14 and was only running in the mid 40 knot range when things stopped.
