It doesnt have to stay that way, though.....
I took my boat out this morning (one small Sweetlip that I released), but it was really an excuse to have a play with the new Humminbird 989CX HD SI that is bolted to my boat.
It's a great device, and I played with the sidescan, as well as downscan and normal sonar, and I have come to one conclusion about Coochie.
There may be a hill in the middle of the island, but under the water, it's bloody flat.
It doesnt have to stay that way, though.....

But where would you put it? Ive thought about it but as you said, if its flat itd be pot luck of a fish finding it??
