    Spanner Crabs...anybody catching them?

    Hi All

Haven't seen any reports of Spanner Crabs being caught!? Anybody out there trying their luck?

I got a taste late last year North of Moreton, but had to make an early exit as one of the Deckies was making 'Rainbow Pancakes' instead of pulling in pots....

Yield is very low, but I rate them close to Sandies.

    Thanks Andrew

Is anyone catching any crabs. I tried for sandies and muddies in three locations for six hours yesterday for zero.

Yep, went out last week and caught a good feed. The crew didn't mind hauling the pots.

Rosco I was in Tingalpa Creek caught one u/s and one female {both thrown back}. Then went up Lota Creek to the end nothing there in two hours then went out the front on Manly , all up not a cracker. I have found other places like that : you get some one day the next you will get none. I will try a few other spots.
Has been a bit rough to head out in the Bay lately.
