Looking for a trolling lesson.
I'm really keen on learning to fish for maceral etc via trolling. I have never done it before so I was hoping to tag along with someone who is experienced. I'm 28, a non-smoker, available every sat/sun and I'm happy to fish at any time (day or night). I'll pay my share and bring my own gear. Thanks

Re: Looking for a trolling lesson.
Hi mate,
I'm a lot further north but here's an article I wrote years ago, forgive the cranky rant at the start any questions give me a yell, I'd recommend a wind-on mono leader attached to a foot long thin copper wire trace if you're new to trolling. I'd now change the speed to about 4-6 knots.. happy hunting.
Also try the headstart trolling rigs from the downrigger shop (google it), haven't found a better swimming gar yet, actually have to do a lot of trolling this coming season, did stuff all last year and missed it.
