1kw transducer on Barcrusher

Just wondering if anyone has a Barcrusher with a 1kw transducer fitted?

Im im having dramas with my tm260, it will hold bottom when moving but drops out when drifting,

wont mark ark any bait or fish at all,

Just wondering how high/ low on the transom others have them mounted?

Any by help would be great!
