Gold coast in a Tinny
I have planned a trip to the Gold Coast for the first two weeks of June 2014 and want to get a few ideas from the regular fisho's on where to go? Gear, tactics and any general information to make my trip memorable. My mate (currently located in Southport) has recently bought a Tinny and is probably itching to get out there.
Can anyone suggest Gold Coast hotspots in June?
What tackle should we be using?
What bait is preferred for certain species?
We are also looking for a campsite / caravan park, as a base but close to the fishing spots.
Any help would be greatly recieved.

Re: Gold coast in a Tinny
Try south curragee camp ground, you will be about 5meters from the water and camping on stradbroke a few short k's from the seaway..
Winter time is Jewie time, either on softplastics or with livebait. Live pike are the best (bit harder to find) or live yakkas i think secondly and can be caught on the bait reef just outside the seaway (27 56.556 S 153 26.684 E)
