Brisbane Fly Fishing Club Tuna on Fly Event - 21-23 March 2014 - All welcome

Hi All,

The Brisbane Fly Fishing Club invites all fly fishers to join us for the inaugural Brisbane Tuna on Fly competition at Bongaree on Bribie Island - the world class Fly Fishery of Moreton Bay and the mighty Longtail and Mac Tunas of the Sunshine Coast.

The competition combines two great social events at our Briefing and mid competition de-briefing which will include great prizes and giveaways from our sponsors with a family friendly atmosphere promising to become a great annual event.

Sponsors at this stage include EJ Todd, Tienfly Outfitters, Gin Clear, Chris Beech and Peter Morse - as with any event they can't happen without the sponsors assistance so thanks in advance.

New Fly Fishers are most welcome with experienced members of our club all to happy to share information and get new members involved in our great sport.

Accommodation is available at the Bongaree caravan park with options from cabins to camping. Evening meals will be available at the Bribie Island Bowls Club where the briefing on Friday night and debrief on Saturday night will be held along with the last man standing draws for a variety of fly fishing equipment including 2 TFO fly rods.

ORDER OF EVENTS

***Friday 21 March***
7:45pm Event registration
8:00pm Event Briefing, Lucky Angler and TFO Rod Draws

***Saturday 22 March***
6:00am Fishing Day 1 until 4pm
7:30pm Debrief, including Lucky Angler and TFO Rod Draws

***Sunday 23 March***
6:00am Fishing Day 2 until 12pm
1:00pm All boats required back at Bongaree Boat Ramp
1:15pm Sausage Sizzle, Presentations and Lucky Draw Prizes
