OK we are 6 months out from what should have been a significant event in the Ausfish calendar. We normally have about 80 or so signed up by now. Unfortunately I have a prior commitment to another M&G so I won't be attending the AF event. OK who is attending the AF Agnes M&G?

I won't be going to the AF M&G. Last year was my first, and I keep thinking about it now. It was such a great M&G to bust my M&G cherry. If I went this year it just wouldn't be the same. most of the committee members from last year have got the boot, they and Phill were the ones that made it sooooo good.

I don't imagine any of the other mods stepping up to help out organise it? I think they might forget that the M&Gs form such a great part of ausfish. It allows us to meet each face to face. The recent activities have ruined this, and I fear it has ruined the community spirit of ausfish.

It was because of the M&G I've made new friends. If it wasn't for the M&G I wouldn't have fallen asleep on the floor at Damos house after 4 beers! Or get bugged by Chong...

The mods this is aimed at know who they are. Stop getting off on the ban-stick and lighten the hell up...

Rob do you know of 100 turning up to a M&G under the Ausfish Banner this year. I certainly hope that there are 100 who turn up and keep this fine tradition alive. I know of at least 50 who will be in town that week but attending another M&G as they support good mates who are no longer welcome on this site. I imagine there will be plenty of opportunities to catch up with each other no matter which flag you are flying (or not flying in the Ausfish case)
