Is hitch spelt wrong? is this a mono or braid knot?

I have used this as a quick and easy double in braid then improved Albright for braid to leader.

I only use it in mono, and only up to 20kg approx. After that I find it to big and untidy.

I use it for both mono & braid.
Do 10 turns around the thumb for braid.
Quick & effective way to create a double.

Just learn to tie a Bimini twist quickly, it's the better knot.

The spider hitch is simple to tie, but is not all that strong.
