Gladstone in march?

Hi all,
heading up to Gladstone in march for a while visiting friends and was planning on fishing the outlet as this used too produce years ago when I used too fish there! I've heard tho that it's now closed too fishing from the bank? Is this right? I was planning on taking a mate out there as I used too get queenies and was planning on chasing a few good sport fish again! If this is right what's a good spot too try now for pure catch n release sport?

If you are meaning the hot water outlet, I haven't heard of it being closed. The roads there have changed a bit and there have been some improvements made, sheltered tables. I am probably going down Sunday unless the wind drops so will check it out.

This was years ago mate I thought they'd made changes or expanded something there, im from brissie so wasn't sure but was keen to hit the old haunt!
