A 15kg Red Emperor that turned into a 15kg Amberjack was high on the list but a few Noahs gave it a run for its money

I think the worst fish I caught was the 35 ( slight exaggeration ) bream that all measured about 1mm under size.
Gotta Love Maroochydore.
I had a long hard think about this. I don't fish the bottom much, so we don't get a lot of vermin. I'd say my least favourite fish I caught this year was Spanish Mackerel. Ok, before you stone me to death, let me explain!! I don't eat a lot of fish, so that's not our priority. For their size, Spaniards are pissed poor fighters, they are slimey, they've got a mouth full of sharp teeth, and they don't release well.
In 2012, we did have a hot session up at Airlie on them when they were getting massive air for the poppers which was super cool, but otherwise, I'm sorry, but I don't rate them
fruit salad is the new Bacon
I managed to get a small gold spot cod about 1.5kgs......jighead poked him right in the brainbox and was nothing more than a lump of weed to bring in....bloody waste.
Jack.
hairy worms in a crab pot what a nightmare. i felt like setting the pot on fire.
After recent run of donuts I can't remember what it it is like to catch a fish let alone what my worst was
StillDreamin, you took my post. That is the worst fish I have caught, the ones I didn't catch. To add salt to the wound, as I was having coffee down the beach this morning around 7am, saw a tourist cleaning three good snapper. (Of course, if I had been on the water at the time that he was, I might catch some fish too
).
