Taking kingfish and jewie gear to try off Terrigal - hopefully redeem my efforts from last trip out there 2 years back.

Hey guys, I used to have xmas holidays at avoca beach every year and got to know every square inch of the rocks from mugs all the way round past the island, also used to go to terrigal and long jetty ( chasing prawns) , just brought back a few memories for me, so I hope your trip has many happy memories for you and your family, merry xmas, roy.

We will be at parents place at Wyee - next to Budgewoi. I know the coast pretty well - life member of a dive club at Terrigal with over a decade of diving offshore there. Did all my fishing on coast from 14yo till 33yo with jewies at Jewie Bay and rat-trap Avoca and Boxhead I got a 68lber on a home made lure in flood water, prawns at Budgewoi and long jetty, luderick off rocks from Avoca to Fraser Park - many years of fishing in Gosford Angling Club. Good old days of inter-clubs and championships. I lived at Somersby on a farm for a couple of decades then Wyee for a decade.
Anyway off to bed for some shut-eye then a 2am drive - Merry Christmas folks - have a safe and happy one!
