Don't know about the fathom reefs but would guarantee palmy reef would be absolute mayhem on Saturday.
I want to take a run out to the reefs through the seaway on saturday.
looking at the map if shows 24 fat, 26 fath , 36 fath.
in each of theses there are numbers 1,2,3,4,5 .
which reef do u pick or just keep trying?
can someone point me in the right direction. Iam not after marks but just dont want to waste time running around all day. Just some idea would be appreciated.
also is it wise to take a run down to the so called palm beach reefs.
we will be on our jet skis.
cheers
greg

The 24's are 10ks out the 36's are 20ks.. palm beach reef is a few hundred meters.. the current is prob a bit strong on the wider grounds you can get the general gps marks off the net and if you have a sounder... sound around, its tough at the moment with the filthy inshore water but will hopefully change soon
dont knock on deaths door... ring the doorbell and run... death hates that!!
if you go to palm beach most chase macks there its been a bit slow water not warm enough yet plus theres the gravel pach of burleigh as well on the way down
Cheers fellas
may just play around at the 24
i will prob be out there too mate.. white nova with a red bimini

Do a bit off a google search and you will get plenty of marks. I usually head straight out or to the SE a little. I don't usually fish on marks, just sound around until I find some nice ground with bait all over it that's where they are. Pick up some lives in close, just look for the boats jigging. Good luck!
