go-pro to smart phone or tablet
hi all got a go-pro for xmas and was wondering?
as you can control the go-pro with your tablet/smart phone and view what its looking at. Can you attach a rope or 100p fishing line to it and drop it over the side say at harry's or curtain even smith's rock and still view or doe's it loose connection.
Has anybody tried ? or thought about it

Put a small weight on the end of the fishing line, attache the GoPro. My line is marked in 10m increments so it helps to know how deep it is. Hit record lower it down slowly. When you bring it up you can check out the footage on your tablet/smart phone.
Alternatively just grab a mask and go for a paddle..
