A couple of friends and I hit the upper Tweed River area over the past weekend and had a ball. Hit the River on the Friday arvo for a couple of Bass each - some on the troll some casting the banks and snags. Biggest fish went 39.5cm.

Then hit Clarrie Hall Dam on the Sat & Sun and had an absolute ball. Took us a few hours to find fish but when we did we had a ball. Most fish were in the 36cm to 40cm range and boy they put up a great fight too on light gear. Most dam fish were caught trolling the old faithful Ecogear SX48 in 4m to 7m of water. The edges didn't really produce much, just the deeper sections. The 3 of us got about 12 to 15 fish for the weekend, which was great fun.

Cheers,

Pete
