    Fishing Buddy Wanted

Hello to everyone, I have been a member for some time but have been busy with work and study, I am finishing study and have changed job positions that will free me up to do some more fishing, I live at Redland Bay and have a Clark 4.35 Dominator, I enjoy all types of fishing and have general knowledge but do not specialise in any particular erea.I have mates that I take out but they do not share the same enthusiasm as me, I am 44 YO married with one child (8 year old son),I do not drink or smoke and have most weekends off now barring family commitments. 'I have tried fishing clubs in the past but haven't seemed to have gelled with them, I am keen to meet someone who loves fishing and doesn't mind early mornings or fishing at night. All my gear is in top condition and always take care on the water treating the bay with respect. I don't have a lot of other interests except family and social BBQ's etc as have been a work alcoholic for most of my life. If you are interested in catching up and meeting send me a PM to discuss further.

Awesome job mate, not many employers will let you work and drink at the same time LOL.

Its sometimes tough to find an extra bod for a fish at the same time you are free, maybe if you have a day, time, target in mind post on here a couple of days before and someone may be up for a fish with you.
    cheers

    Hi mate
I have only just saw this now. I am a keen fisherman and crabber. I too live at Redland Bay, just turned 34 and although I have mild cerebral palsy it doesn't stop me from doing too much. I need a hand to rig my line and tie knots etc. I have my own boat in the form of an "Allycraft 425 Reelmate", however I always fish with another person. Let me know if you may be interested in having a chat
    Cheers
    Scott

    Re: Fishing Buddy Wanted

    Hey mate,
I cant help you right atm, but I'm moving looking at buying a house now on the Gold Coast some where,
    I also have 2 boats, A 27ft Riviera flybridge & a 6.2m Qunitrex,
I am 47 years old with a wife & 3 kids, don't drink or smoke either lol.

Happy to go out with anyone, Any excuse to go out fishing is me wether it be chucking plastic & soaking baits day or night in a river or offshore a week at a time.

I have no idea about fishing up that way yet, but I'm sure it wont take long to work it out.
Should be moved in up there around early January
Wont be running the Rivera up from Port Stephens will I work out how to get a mooring for it some where around the Gold Coast.
We don't know anyone in QLD at all, But I'm sure I'll be right being a fisho

I didn't expect this many responses, I have one more exam to prepare for this weekend and am putting in for leave over the Christmas / new year break so plan to get out on the water as many days as possible. Hopefully will the first time in about 5 years that I will have some time off over Christmas if management are kind to me.
