Thread: small blacks tracking...

    Re: small blacks tracking...

We hooked and lost one at Boat Rock a few days ago.
We also seen 2 others feeding on the surface but the water has since gone cold again out there.
Hopefully these southerlies will push that water back in but the fish are definitely starting to show up although very thin in numbers and very scattered.

Not fishing seriously mate, we did snag a chopper tailor on a chrome slug. Some good bait balls mid water around the 20's but water looked really crap.

    Re: small blacks tracking...

We only took a rod each (was just taking the boat for a run to use up some fuel) , we did troll the colour change for 20 mins with our Tailor as a livie and the other rod with a little spoon, but no action. Very half hearted attempt! Lol. Big tides on the Broadwater. Must have been pumping some dirty water on the run out.
