Firstly I have to thank tunaticer for sending me a message and putting me onto a spot that delivered.
I was up at Bribie Island around 5:30am with some beach worms and caught some whiting from 25 to 35 cm that I let go. And then I caught my best fish ever which was a 65 cm FlatheadIt really got my adrenalin going and took about 10 minutes to land. I also swam that one away. I went for a walk and took some photos of a different lizard

great effort mate! south east QLD has a lot to offer, people just need to get out and enjoy it.. great fishing and great wildlife!

That spot has worked for me for about 30 yrs nearly every time.
