luckily for me the misses has booked a house at stanage for christmas time just wondering if anyone had any tips places or marks to try up there any help would be appreciated

Yeah I'm keen to explore the Stanage area. We tried to find a house there a couple of months ago, but none of them would allow dogs, so I'll just have to read your report on the area.
I got some arial photos from the Clairview side of the bay which looks like it could be some great fishing, I've always wondered if there is any way of getting into the Styx River side.

Von at the tackle shop has all the info and more about what's firing where , crabs are in every creek , barra and kings again in the creeks ...big Jew at the bar at night not far from ramp , and after that any of the sholes fish great for reds , and islands like hexem , marble etc all house trout. And redthroat...awesome place..
