    nmea starter kit and the appropriate Honda interface cable

    Where can you buy the Honda cables can't find them on the net?

    First, you can only do this with later model year Hondas. You need to check first if your motor has NMEA2000 capability before you go spending $.
    Note to self: Don't argue with an idiot. They will only bring you down to their level and beat you with experience....

    This link shows the basic layout of the NMEA network including some of the parts you will require (not sure if the European part number for the Honda interface cable will be same as AUS although would be amazed if it wasn't).

    I haven't seen the Honda interface cables for sale in AUS so you may have to order it from a dealer or via the web from OS.

    You can also use this tool on the etec website to design your network components prior to purchasing (just substitute your 3 devices for three gauges and check to see if your 2 lowrance and sonic hub have direct nmea2k connections or if interface cables are required for these)
