prawning around brisbane

iv just moved up to Brisbane and i want to catch a few prawns iv got a 9ft drawstring could anyone point me in some areas to target??

Best results are out of a boat. You have one?

It is early in the season, but they are about.

Pine River, Jacobs Well, Rudy Mars, Redland bay and the like.

Look for other boats casting prawn nets...around the high tide.
