Cressy garfish?

Hi there peoples, taking the 4 oldest kids out for a fish at cresbrook dam tomorrow and was wondering how you go about catching these little suckers, more chance catching them than a bass maybe . We will be land-based so if anyone has any tips or spots........ CHEERS woody and 4 excited kids
