A trip as per the pic below is around the 260k's. This would be a minimum distance.

Just read back through the report from last year. Seems 300k's would an absolute minimum. most were in the 350 - 400 k range.

I think we did around 350km last year, give or take. We did troll for a few hours and also chased spotties for a while too

Rember You will need extra fuel to burn if you plan on doing a bit of Trolling ... Did you guys have a fuel stash on the beach ? Or carry it on board the whole trip? ..I Will be trying to get along to this one.. Hope the SBM are as thick as last season .. Cheers mick

Cheech and Chong Charters was there last year. We just didn't get the memo that everyone was going up a day early and were the only ones at Rooneys on the Saturday night. Not this year though. I have already put in my leave for the Friday.

There where 3 boats overnight just around the corner from Roonies on that Saturday night, Beeracuda, Boat Hog and us, around the corner in that bay it was a little less bumpy from memory, the others buggered off though, we got there and there was no one there
