Reports for Moreton Island

Hi All,

Im about to leave the UK in the next few days and as soon as i get there im off on a 4 day trip to Moreton.

Would anyone be kind enough to share any reports over there with me, both fishing and track wise.

Hey mate, a couple of weeks ago the ocean beach was impassable 2 hours after low tide just south of middle road. Been getting some nice tailor down the bottom on the ocean beach from what I hear though.

Long way to come for four days..

Hey Liltuffy im over for 4 weeks and am from Brisbane mate spent my youth on Moreton Island so know it fairly well havnt been home for 2 years so taking my 9 year old over with my old fella first trip to Oz and first fishing trip for my boy. When you say down the bottom you talking Korringal Track area or Readers/Short point?

Kooringal track where it drops you out on the ocean side. To the right is now green zone, to the left the beach heads north. The tailor have been caught to the left in any decent gutter, lots of erosion over there at the moment.

Wasnt to the right, i believe was known as the Timbers?
