New to SEQ

Hi guys

My name is Scott Im from Port Macquarie on the nsw coast . I'm a keen fisho love getting out in my 5.2 m Savage and having a fish . I have just got a new job as a buyer for one of Australia big fishing tackle retailers and due to this have recently relocated to Brisbane. Looking to meet some new people get some local knowledge. So far been quite unsuccessful in the bay and only racked up one small black marlin on the gc before the water went cold. I'm starting to get that itch only a screaming reel can fix please help me !!
I'm also interested in joining a good fun game fishing club if anyone knows any!! my boat is quite small but I had a alright season last summer and it's more of a hobby then interested in winning prizes
