    Conecting fcv620 to navman 5500 help

    Iv just picked up a 2nd hand furuno FCV 620 and I wish to hook it up to my navman 5500 tracker will it allow me to use the mark function on furuno and transfer the cords onto the navman?
    does anyone no how to wire this
    Furuno wiring
    white nmea0183
    blue nmea0183
    yellow nmea0183
    green nmea0183
    brown and orange temp input
    red and black 12-24v power input

    navman
    black ground power negative nmea
    brown power out 9v dc
    white nmea out to autopilot/radar
    blue navbus - or nmea2 input
    red positive power in
    orange navbus +

    The furnuno wont transfer the co-ords back to the navman nor any other gps. it will however record the GPS mark in its own storage area, you can only store 10 marks. once you have the marks though you can write them down and add them back into the Navman. We find it easier to simply press mark on our gps and not bother.

    nmea 0183, should be (rx) receive (tx) transmit (send)

    Send unit 1 to Receive unit 2,
    Receive unit 1 to Send unit 2.

    Sorry don't know the colours, but you also need a ground.

    thought it would be good for traveling at speed and being able it hit mark on the sounder mark it with the curser instead of going back and looking for it and then marking it with the gps

    Anyone know what fuse size the furuno takes the manual shows 2 one on each + and -

    Honda is that the same with all the furuno fcv's? ive just ordered a 587.. same thing?

    I've filled up my 10 marks. Anyway to clear them other than a full reset? Worth doing for the reasons mentioned above.

    1. Press the MENU/ESC key to open the menu.

    2. Use 􀁓 or 􀁔 to choose Data and press the

    ENTER key.

    3. Use 􀁓 or 􀁔 to choose WPT List and press

    the ENTER key.

    4. Use 􀁓 or 􀁔 to choose a waypoint to be

    edited and press the Enter key.



    The Edit Waypoint window is shown.


    5. Use 􀁓 or 􀁔 to choose item desired and

    press the DELETE key.
