All well & good Trev.......and nice Flatties they is......
but just WHERE is "I looked about and found this water - looked fishy to me."

SWMBO suggested I should go for a fish yesterday arvo as the weather was just real nice.
I looked about and found this water - looked fishy to me.
I jigged about it for 15 minutes and
then another 30 minutes and got the second one
nice little trip BUT . . . .
As I have done numerous trips offshore in the boat for $200 plus fuel burns and returned with not much and now i am doing little $3 trips in the car and coming home with fish SWMBO (She Who Must Be Obeyed) might start rationalising $/kg and offer some advice
Cheers

Could it be the mouth of Nudgee Creek?
Tight Lines
Split-shot
SMD - the location is spot X
S-S not there but thanks for the tip - will check it out
If anyone else wants to guess a spot that should look like this I am happy to be told
Some people asked about how I prepare the fish and cook it - ie make the fillet without skin and without bones - I have posted it in cooking section here FYI - happy to share some things :-

Haha Jimbo, looking for bite, Ok ill play along, what do you mean nunya?
nunya effin bussiness.. hence nunya.
Trev that's good work apart from the obvious downside of highlighting fuel to fish ratios....
Maybe tell her they are 'fresher' offshore??? Good luck with the explanation....

I am glad someone explained the Nunya as I could only find it in good old USA for trout - and I wasn't about to go and check it out.
Nudgee a green zone - wow that was close Mike thanks for that - didn't know I was being set-up!
Walrus - missus is accountant gifted so I am stuffed there - the only thing saving my boat is all the transom stuff has brought her to think I could only sell it for 2 cents so may as well keep the boat - still though that doesn't put fuel in the tank - and one day I will do well offshore

Did you get them in Darwin? Oh hang on we don't get excited about catching flat head up here. Actually never heard of one till I moved to qld.
