The good points I would like to make are:-

very good clearance under the car... no spring hangers, shockie mounts etc etc. Leafsprings mounted on top of rear axle.

    Standard equipment is awesome.

Cruise, elec windows and mirrors, carpet, 4 glove boxes, 2 ciggie lighter sockets and 6 drinks holders. Suicide doors are brilliant.

Interesting feature are the " quick release " terminals on the main battery, no spanner required.

    cheers

Yep, even figured out how to re-boot it, due to battery being disconnected during some ally welding of tool boxes. The manual ( Instructions ) are in english and easy to follow... go figure !!!

Nice mate......looks like a lot of thought has gone into it.
Good to see they have gone to a front mount intercooler and leafs over axle makes much more sense to me for a 4x4 ute I have no idea why manufacturers went away from that set up.
I hope it serves you well.

I do a lot of night and long distance driving. The main problem is tired eyes / sore eyes and this mostly comes from the glare from the dash lights and oncoming traffic.

In some cars you can turn these dash lights off, like my last Collie, and sometimes a couple of lights cannot be turned off, causing the glare.( Radio )

The light is white from the dash, but under a red light, the glare reduces dramatically and in fact does not cause any sore eyes / tired eyes. Truck driver mate of mine told me about this.

So, I turn the lights off as best I can, and switch on the red led's under the dash, allowing the red colour to take out any glare from remaining dash lights.

The best way to explain this is: next time you are driving on a highway ( no street lighting ), place you hand ( Horizontal ) over your nose and pressed against your face. Make sure you block the dash lights out. You should feel a massive difference in your eyes, due to glare being removed. I often thought about making some sort of item that would do this, like a peak from a baseball cap and have elastic on it to support it in place. But the red LED light from under the dash seems to work fine, in conjunction with turning off dash lights. OK so who fast are you going , I hear you ask. Well, I now have cruise control, so will take care of that. With the old Collie, I just listened to the rpm and checked every now and again. ( I was usually going under speed when I checked ).

Ever wondered why those Gridiron players put black stuff on their cheeks ? To stop the glare from the lighting when playing at night. Similar principle.

Rod holders are a given...its still missing something!

PS very interested in your thoughts on the Polaris, looking at the polaris or the Hema, looking at a reverse camera for Bec, the Hema and Polaris can hook into these,
