    1770 weather gods

Well here we have it 2 cats in tow and destanation is 1770 this tuesday for 12 days and the weather looks like its going to blow its arse off for most of it at this stage. What i want to know is,is it still worth fishing in close with it having a bit of a blow and is the bar still passable with swell rolling out wide.I've only done 1 trip out wide of reefs and planned going wide agian but might be confined to inclose for first half of trip.Any thoughts or input will be appreciated.
All else fails there will be 2 boats in a yard with 8 drunkin blokes.

    cheers justin

Justin if the swells rolling in from the east to north east it might pick the bar up a bit, but as you no the wide bay bar is a lot worse. Good luck with ya trip .

Justin, with the breeze ESE the bar won't be too much of a problem, hardly ever is, and in close you should get some protection from the land. However at the moment in close the water is dirty on the out going tide due to the rain. Once the tide has pushed the dirty stuff in there is clear water in close and there has been some pelagic's around of late. Things like the Yellow fin and smaller macks. Heaps of Herring off the heads the other day. The neighbour threw his cast net out from the boat at the heads and almost couldn't get it back into the boat it was that full.
    Enjoy.
