What do you mean exactly by "Crashes"
Does it give you any message, closes, etc....

What are you using it on, Ipad, Iphone 4, 5.....

What version of software are you running

Most likely due to incorrect usename and password.

Make sure you have them correct.

No need to upgrade to the paid app if you ate a member here, unless you don't want your reports published to the reports section of the forums.

Hi Steve. I've downloaded on both iPhone5 and iPad and entered my Ausfish username and password but it will not open. I only get a flash of the activity star wheel. Cheers.

That would be due to an incorrect username or password. Or not having a good Internet connection

You must use your Ausfish login details and it is case sensitive.

Make sure you have your login details correct, case sensitive, etc...

You may want to try and log out of here and type your login details in so you know for sure you are using the correct details.

For the App to do what you describe it can only be either a bad username/password or bad internet connection.

Does the photo store the GPS location off the photo?

No. the GPS coordinates are stored on the App/Log Book, not uploaded to the forum. Just the Location name that the person enters is uploaded to the forum.

The images are uploaded as PNG files, no geotagging info in PNG files
