when I posted this thread I knew what I was in for. still, this morning I brought my pots home in the dark. every morning I have been collecting them before sunrise without the need for a torch as they are that accurately placed. I zoom the gps in to the max when I drop them. yesterday I searched before and after sunup and there was definitely no float there. I simply cannot explain other than to say it was not a case of poor eyesight or alzheimers.

found them all again this morning at 4.30 am no torch required. only 8 crabs from 3 pots - same as yesterday. old mate fishing north of me managed 10 in 1 pot.
