Maybe it was a low flying bird doing 35knots.
Brown arrow ???
Can't find any reference to a brown arrow, I thought that the graphs were stuck on red......
Maybe Mr Seabreeze crapped himself when that gust came through

I think it is because the weather is only getting worse and after weeks of seeing red arrows you are sure to have the shits so they give you a nice shiny brown one for the 35 knot winds

I think the brown arrow is showing expected wind gusts above the average expected wind strength.
I tend to agree with your first thought, If you where out in that weather and that gust hit you, of course your natural reaction would be uncontrollable bowel movements......ewwww

Was sitting at home this last week and Sunday, Monday just gone didn't seem like there was a whisper of wind. Could have been different in the bay never did get out.
I dropped the boat in at Scarborough harbour on Saturday; within 10 minutes the boat was being loaded back on the trailer...

On the Beaufort Scale anything between 34 - 40 knots becomes a "Gale - Moderately high waves with breaking crests forming spindrift. Well-marked streaks of foam are blown along wind direction. Considerable airborne spray." maybe this is the change in colour, 41 - 47 knots a "strong gale - High waves whose crests sometimes roll over. Dense foam is blown along wind direction. Large amounts of airborne spray may begin to reduce visibility" pays to wear khaki coloured pants in that sort of weather if you are on the water.
They may be trying some sort of new grading
There is another one registered at 19:03 - 37knots (Cape Moreton)

They had a notice on the Seabreeze website last week (or the week before) advising that they had made sope changes, so perhaps now it is "colour coded" dependent upon the wind strength.
There was a notification the other day that they had added the brown arrows for +35Kn winds. (appropriate colour....)
