Managed to squeeze in a session for a couple of hours before we head for holidays. 2nd trip on the new yak. water was still dirty on the top of the tide but managed to get a nice solid bream (37cm)on a zman (sorry no photo) and a little Jewie (68cm approx - released of course) on a yellow/green micro mullet which was a good fight on light gear. The yak went well and was pleased with it's ability to handle a bit of chop. still nearly fell out again. managed to lose my trusty fish grips over the side in the fight against the jewie. I think i will be investing in some lanyards for my fish gripper and rods too maybe. leg propulsion would be good but this will do for now. Still alot of big logs floating around to be weary of. Anyway, looking forward to Yamba. sorry bout the quality of the photos but was keen to get him back in the water.
