2 * 24kg Short Stroker Builds

[Out-Station]

Just built a pair of standup 50's on bent butts. Wanted simple and functional rods at reasonable cost but the goods when it comes to the task at hand. Went with UC 4 foot unibutt 24kg blanks. Aftco #2 curved butt and HD rollers. All black (including butts)with very minimal simple gold trim. Hypalon grip. Single under and tripple over on the binds A/AAC. Light coat of epoxy over each bind and 4 finishing coats. Sorry about the horrible pics but overall really happy with these blanks. Lockup point is up in the top third of the rod and they seem to have some serious lifting grunt, way better when i compare to my old e glass sabre and calstar which just seem to keep bending right through to the foregrip. With 50's running 50m topshot then dac i recon they will be the goods in putting the hurt on. Just need to find a decent mr stickface to try them out on now!!
